Fairfield Inn & Suites Spokane Airport

The breakfast lady worked hard to keep everything nice, with oatmeal, eggs, bacon, waffles, yogurt, and fruit, plus really good coffee. The bed was comfortable, and the fresh botanical scent from the bath products, which weren’t too strong, helped me sleep. The room was clean, especially the linens and bathroom, and the decor felt fresh instead of the usual sad brown. Staff were nice too. It’s a recently updated hotel by the Spokane airport. I don’t usually give reviews this high, so I hope they keep it up. Well done so far.

I had to cancel the room I’d booked because I was still waiting for my US passport and visa. The US Consulate in Melbourne, Australia may have been snowed under and overworked. My passport is due this Monday, so I’m looking forward to booking again this coming week. Phew! The staff were very understanding, which says a lot about the nice people there. It’s an easy walk to the GEG terminal and rental car counters, which worked well for my early flight. The lobby has grab-and-go food and coffee. My newly renovated room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful. I recommend it.

We still got to enjoy the complimentary breakfast before setting off, and the room was clean and quiet despite being within walking distance of the airport terminal. We needed a bed after our Southwest flight was canceled and we arrived more than 12 hours late. It was after midnight, and we still had another two-hour drive to our destination for a funeral in the morning. The staff were extremely helpful and found us a room for the night.
