After living here for more than a year, I found management slow to respond and the shared spaces, including the terrace and “mail room,” cheap-looking and poorly maintained. My mail was stolen, and cars were broken into in the gated garage, which costs $200 a month. They accept no liability for damage. It feels like they cut corners wherever they can.

The apartments look nice inside, but the construction seems poor. A brand new washer had its seal break after a few months, and it still wasn't fixed almost two years later. A kitchen cabinet door came off and was never repaired; the leaking dishwasher was ruining the floors and also remained unfixed. We've moved out. Two huge windows fell from Parkview West Apartments onto the sidewalk on separate occasions, even though the building is pretty new. They could have killed someone walking by. If I'd been one minute earlier, one would've fallen on me. I contacted the owner, Jeremy Tampien, but he brushed me off and didn't seem concerned about the unsafe conditions of his building. The manager I spoke with, Tawna, was rude and unprofessional.

We enjoyed the space despite some minor issues, and would have spent literally 12 times more than we did. We also would've kept recommending it to many people in our industry looking for similar spaces. Then 4Degrees ruined it all. Please read reviews of 4Degrees Real Estate and Property Management before considering a short or long-term rental in this building. Renting anywhere that uses 4Degrees as its rental firm could pose serious risks to your safety, health, and security. It's unfortunate for the building's owner. Their obvious incompetence and lack of accountability don't discriminate. This is honest advice that could save you and your family from serious issues. There are definitely safer, better options. Why take a chance?
