Don't come here if you're looking for a quiet place, traveling with more than one bag, don't smoke, or are female. People show up with a speaker and a "guest," and this feels shady, like a local hookup hotel that charges by the hour, not a tourist, family, or single female hotel. Every guest has to show ID. Some rooms only have a bed, with no chair. Every room seems to be smoking, regardless of what you reserved through a hotel app, and smoke gets into your room from others, through the heater, bathroom, or under the door. The mattress had a plastic cover, but it didn't hide the smell. Something happened, and they just can't afford to replace it. Staff were rude, even for the Bronx. They give you a receipt, but for considerably less than you paid.

Elder Ave is just a block away for the 6 train, and the BX4 is accessible too. There are plenty of shops and places to eat nearby. The rooms were good, and all the staff were friendly and really helpful.

I wish I’d read the reviews before booking. They require ID from everyone staying in the room, which was new to me, especially at a two-star hotel. I’ve stayed at plenty of hotels where that wasn’t an issue. I had my lady with me and felt like a straight chump standing there. From the other reviews, it sounds like I didn’t miss much anyway.

We spent $1,000 and should have stayed somewhere else. The place doesn’t deserve its two-star rating. Doors slam hard, and housekeeping is around all day and night. They claim it’s non-smoking, but someone in the room next to us was smoking and set off the fire alarm at 6 a.m. When my husband asked about it, the front desk questioned him with, “Where does it say no smoking?” It’s right on your website. They also gave us a hard time when a friend came by to drop off bags, insisting only two people could be in the room at a time. So which policies do you actually enforce? Stay away unless all you’re looking for is a place to get laid.
