River Rd. Mansion

Room 207 had the old-house charm we wanted, with a comfortable large bed, two sinks in an antique cabinet, plenty of hot water, a nice TV, and a mini-fridge. We’d have liked more hangers in the armoire. The price was very reasonable, and we’d gladly stay again when visiting my sister in Las Palmas Ranch, whose house was an easy walk away. We’d planned to stay with her, but a new dog at home led her to book us a room at the Chateau instead. It turned out to be a lovely surprise. The beautiful historic house has a Bed and Breakfast feel, though it’s more of a hotel, with some nice amenities. The front parlors are spacious and nicely decorated, with room for quite a few people, though we rarely saw anyone else. The owners live there and were sweet and eager to help when we ran into them. There isn’t someone sitting at a desk, which makes sense for the hotel’s size, but things were clearly looked after. Coffee pods and other guest supplies in the parlor were kept stocked, and there were dishes and glassware if you wanted to spend time socializing outside your room. Thanks to our wonderful hosts.

We stay at Chateau Coralini whenever we're in Salinas to see our son, daughter in-law, and grandson. The rooms feel warm and elegant, and they're wonderful. They recently added an in house host who's friendly and accommodating. Thank you, Sweetie!! We love the Chateau Coralini!

Sweety was such a kind, thoughtful host, always ready to help with a warm smile. She really cared about our comfort, and her attention made the stay better. The team was friendly, responsive, and helpful throughout. The place was peaceful and quiet but conveniently close to what we needed. We enjoyed coffee on the porch and relaxing in the evening. Everything was organized from check-in, and the accommodations were immaculate. The property is beautifully kept, with cozy furnishings and high-quality linens that showed how much care had gone into it. It had a lovely mix of charm and comfort, and the welcoming atmosphere made us feel at home right away. I’d absolutely return and recommend it for a peaceful, memorable getaway.

The rooms were elegant, clean, and peaceful, and the whole stay felt like royalty. The staff also went above and beyond to sort out an issue with my online booking, so I didn’t have to worry. I left some possessions behind, and the hotel found them and kept them safe until I could retrieve them. They could easily have thrown them away, so I really appreciated that. If you’re anywhere near salinas, do yourself a favor and stay here at least once.
