The suite felt comfortable and had a homey look, with tidy rooms, thoughtful decor, and up-to-date technology. The stairs up to the second level were pretty steep, though they didn’t cause us any trouble. It took a little effort to find the hotel building, and service was somewhat slow. Those were my only complaints.

Check-in was quick, and the staff were friendly and efficient. The place was very clean, too. There’s no food service on the property, which is why I held back the fifth star, but the room had a mini fridge and microwave, and nearby restaurants were easy to find.

Their flyer about the place’s unusual history is so poorly printed that it’s embarrassing. For what the rooms cost, it should be redone to a standard that suits the store. The advertising also needs to make it clearer that the restaurant, which is part of the property’s history, now only does catering.

The staff were really nice, and the rooms felt very cozy. My only issue was how easily you could hear everyone else in the room, wherever you were.

The pool was nice and warm, yay! The room was spacious and comfortable, though the bathroom looked a bit worn. The front desk attendant was friendly and very helpful.
