The laundry setup was the low point: many machines were out of order, card charges seemed to be about twice the stated amount, and the card readers worked only some of the time. I emailed the office without getting a reply, and another guest said he was also overcharged. The rest of our two weeks went well enough that we extended a one-week stay. The showers had good hot water and benches, and the clubhouse had a huge TV, couches, games the kids loved, a coffee bar, and an ice machine. We used the mail area often, even though it was usually full, and liked the outdoor fire pit, grill, TV, and pond-side seating. The pool was a favorite, and one of us used it every day. The hot tub was closed for a couple of days, though my little ones still got in. We tried fishing for days without catching anything. Free popcorn all day was probably our top perk, and they may need to refill it less now that we’ve left. There are treats and some trailer supplies for sale in the office. Read the rules: we didn’t realize our dog couldn’t be left outside unattended while leashed. Staff said they’d explained it to my husband the week before, but he thought they were concerned about a stray dog, so we misunderstood.

The train horn was the one drawback. A train passed at least twice a day, and it was loud. Otherwise, I found this a decent place for my seven-night stay, with working facilities, lots of amenities, responsive staff, and two dog parks plus potty stations around the grounds.

The grounds were clean and the sites had plenty of room, which made for a comfortable RV stay. Northlake RV Resort by QRV also felt quiet and well maintained, with thoughtfully arranged amenities and reliable services. The staff were friendly and quick to respond, and access was convenient. It seems suited to a short stop or a longer stay.

There are dogs everywhere, more than I’ve seen at a park, and the barking is constant enough that I couldn’t leave my door open. Dog waste was all over the walking areas, and staff weren’t cleaning it up either. The laundry room needs serious attention: most machines were dirty or out of order, and when I poured in liquid soap I could hear it leaking out the back. A staff member just said that was how the machines worked and there was nothing to do, so my clothes weren’t getting soap. The gym equipment needs replacing too.
