The rooms are small but clean, and we didn't find any bugs. My son had been staying at the motel for five weeks. On the last day we'd paid for, we had a late checkout, and the woman charged us the full $85 for a single day instead of the $55 rate we'd been paying. She kept saying, “not my fault.” Run, don't stay at Springdale Inn. Other places charge the same single-day price but are better.

It's close to everything in the city, with a nice restaurant just a few feet away. But it doesn't seem like much of a place for kids. If you've been around lots of pavement and know where to cool off, you kind of get the hood-like feel.

There was a mini fridge and microwave, and the staff were nice. The bathroom was good, the shower had strong pressure and good temperature, and we didn't see any bugs. The bed could've been more comfortable, though, and the rates seemed nice, I suppose. I wish the carpet were vinyl flooring since that feels more sanitary. There also aren't guest laundry facilities.

The owners were very friendly and hospitable. The room looked nice and was clean, though it seemed like they were still remodeling. I'm not going to fault small business owners for needing time to afford finishing the work. We could hear people partying at all hours on the weekend, and the hot water only lasted about five minutes. They need to adjust that.

For the price, I was satisfied. The motel isn't the newest or fanciest, but my room was clean, the staff were very nice, and I could park right in front of it. The towels were some of the softest I've ever used.
