Comfort Inn & Suites Springfield I-44

We stayed three nights for a wedding and would come back. The staff were always really nice, breakfast was wonderful each morning, and there was plenty of parking. The pool was unfortunately under maintenance, and the two queen beds we booked turned out to be full size. There’s just one elevator in the middle of the building, so keep that in mind with a large group or anyone who can’t walk far. The lobby floor has a bathroom, vending and ice machines, and the ground floor rooms have step-free access. The lobby and hotel smelled nice, which is rare. It’s close to the highway, Walmart, gas stations, and places to eat.

We got about 6.5 hours of rest here after arriving around 11:30 pm. The front door was locked for security, so we waited for someone at the desk to let us in. The staff were very nice. The side entrance and parking area were dark, and as a scaredy cat I’m not sure I’d want to arrive alone. We had an executive king suite on the third floor. It was clean and a bit dated, but well worth the 15k points. The bed was comfy, the pillows were great, and the hot breakfast was well stocked. The shower head needs replacing. I’d stay again!

We’ve stayed at many Comfort Inn and Suite hotels, and this was by far the worst. The bathroom had broken ceramic tile and a completely broken tub strainer. There was also the sound of water dripping inside the ceiling. If the cost matched the condition...

The ground-floor hallway had a funky smell, and I could hear the TV through the wall all night. In the room, the TV remote still didn't work with fresh batteries. There was no coffee, pool, spa, or Wi-Fi, and nothing seemed to work. At breakfast, the staff member wasn't helpful and just said, "no worky, no worky," which pretty much described the place.
