Travelodge Springfield

Christina at the front desk was friendly, helpful, and focused on customer service during our two-night stay as a couple last weekend. The rest of it was disappointing. The room wasn't clean, most surfaces felt sticky, and all the bedding had stains. The property overall seemed poorly maintained and unclean, and they appeared understaffed. I wouldn't recommend this location for most groups or come back before they update the property and facilities.

The rooms were spacious and clean, and breakfast was fresh with plenty to choose from. Everyone was friendly and informative. I don't want to get their names wrong, but the two K's at the front desk and in housekeeping were great. A really good hotel for a short visit.

After 16 hours on the road, I needed somewhere to rest for a few hours on April 30th. I arrived at 11:45 pm, and the front desk attendants were friendly and helpful, especially for that hour. The place was clean, the shower was hot, and the bed was comfortable. I felt safe sleeping there, and breakfast was straightforward, with no guessing about what looked good. For $100 a night, what more could you ask for?

The bed was very comfortable, and I liked the pool and hot tub. But our room had no conditioner in the shower, and the breakfast drinks were very limited if you don't drink coffee or tea. Heavy rain came through while we were there, and water leaked from the ceiling onto our clothes and near an outlet. I woke up to the dripping. We were only there one night, thankfully. It's not a bad hotel, just not the best experience.
