I slept better here than I normally do at more expensive hotels. The bed was firm but quite comfortable, and I woke up rested with no body aches. The hotel was quiet and seemed to be in a safe neighborhood. The beach is across the street with access, though there’s no direct view. Parking costs extra and can get packed, and the dog fee is also extra, but more affordable than at most nearby places. The staff seemed to love pets. There’s a green area in front for dogs, but no fenced area or dog park. The pool looked clean and nice, though it was cold when I visited, so I don’t know if it’s heated. From the outside it looked like a standard hotel, but my room was modern and updated. The air conditioning seemed brand new and cooled well. There were no bad smells, just a cleaning chemical smell that faded. The bathroom looked modern, and the very hot water was, fair warning, hot. Breakfast was served on time, and the staff welcomed my family and dog. The parking situation is limited, and the pool temperature is unknown, but I was surprised by how much I enjoyed the stay and will book again on future visits.

Watch out for hidden fees. Parking is now $10 / day for guests. The night staff were noticeably less friendly, though otherwise this is the same old nice-to-have BW. It’s an upscaled MOTEL, if you wish. The rooms are renovated, but sound carries and there’s a mold smell. You need to air out the room when you come back in. Breakfast is pretty nominal, with most residents crowding around a single waffle machine. The coffee was reasonable, I have to admit.

We stayed two quiet nights, had no complaints, and felt safe. The room was very clean, and the staff were professional and courteous. There’s beach access across the street, plus a clean pool and spa and washer and dryer access. Our room had a coffee maker, which we didn’t use since the free breakfast was nice. The motel was close to everything in St Augustine, including restaurants.

Laura and Sydney greeted us in the lobby when we arrived and were so welcoming and hospitable. We had an excellent overnight stay, and the place was convenient and clean with no issues.

The people were very friendly, the rooms were nice and seemed new, and the hotel was very clean in my opinion. They changed the towels and cleaned the room every day. It’s near the beach and around 12 minutes from the historic center of San Agustin. Breakfast had a good variety and was very good. I highly recommend it.
