Colony Reef Club 1306 - 3 Br Condo

The resort was neat and well cared for, right on the beach, with a great pool area. We had a spacious 3 bedroom condo in an area that didn't feel overcrowded. We just got back from 5 nights and had a wonderful time. Can't wait to return!

We had a lovely week in late March, my son, my teenage grandkids, and me. The pool, boolean access, and closeness to groceries, food, and sightseeing worked perfectly for all of us. From our beachfront balcony, we saw lots of shorebirds and even watched a turtle lay her eggs. The kids collected shells, and one of them caught a fish. The facilities were clean and well maintained.

This was our second visit, this time in a different condo. The grounds and pool are in very good shape, and there are gates at the road and bench access. The condo we had this week wasn't cleaned properly and needed a deep clean, plus some maintenance in one bathroom. The front desk made things right, though, and we still had a great week. On our first visit the room was perfect. There's no smoking or pets allowed on the property. I'd have given 5 stars, but we had to clean the room ourselves.

The patio grill was nice to have, and we still enjoyed the vacation despite a few problems. The room was clean, but most things besides the leather furniture looked worn from use. The indoor and outdoor pools were nice, and there was an exercise room, sauna, and security in the parking lot. The TVs were a nightmare: either they wouldn't work or they shut off at random, so we found other things to do. There weren't enough towels, washcloths, or hand towels. With seven of us, we expected at least three of each per bathroom. We also couldn't get the patio door screen to slide, and it seemed like it could fall with hardly any effort. We understand the ocean and salty water likely had a lot to do with the screen.
