I liked the spacious second-floor room and its great ocean view, and I enjoyed the beach, back patio, and nearby ocean. The resort’s location and amenities were still a plus, though service at the bar left me feeling like I didn’t belong. I’m a blue-collar worker, usually in jeans and a work logo jacket or shirts that show I do mechanical repairs. Maybe it was my clothes, but I don’t know. I was never rude and treat hotel staff with respect. I rated the stay 4 overall, though service gets a 3. This was a little treat at the end of a work trip. The staff welcomed me right away, and I felt bad when the valet boy cleaned lunch trash from the front of my truck, even though he said he was glad to. My partial ocean-view room turned out to have a balcony over a parking lot, which made me uncomfortable, especially being on the first floor. I asked to move, and they moved me upstairs without fuss. I relaxed around the property and got some pricey Starbucks coffee. At the manager’s reception, the bartender first seemed nice, but my first drink was barely filled while the next person got a full cup. I asked about the guidelines when I went back, she explained, and my second drink was full. Later, while waiting for my dinner order, I went to get another drink. They said they’d be right with me, then served people who arrived after me. I waited about 10 minutes before anyone asked what I wanted, then another two or three minutes to get it. That put a damper on the retreat. Also, some terrible kids made a mess of the outdoor game area at 9pm and didn’t clean up. There were loud, drunk people at 10pm too.

Our spacious room was nicely decorated and well maintained, and the bed and pillows were very comfortable. The bathtub had some rust, but otherwise things were in good shape. The breakfast buffet was great, and the servers were exceptionally polite and accommodating. Lisa in housekeeping was phenomenal with her customer service. We were in 347 😉🤩🤩🤩

Sierra was a true pro while helping with my mom’s wedding over the past several months. She was patient, listened, and offered thoughtful suggestions. It was great to finally meet her the day before the wedding. The weather wasn’t fully on our side, but the wedding was still beautiful. When the wild winds came through, Sierra brought blankets for guests getting cold. She went above and beyond the whole time. The hotel is gorgeous, with really spacious, comfortable rooms that feel like a home away from home, and the beach location can’t be beat. Every staff member we met was friendly and focused on service. We had the best experience and plan to return to enjoy the area. I’d give it more stars if I could.

The beach area has been newly remodeled, and it’s beautiful, with sandy shore just down from the pier. This resort is amazing. The check-in, valet, bar, and breakfast teams were all out of this world, and breakfast had plenty of great options.

The pool was large and really nice, and the hotel is right by the beach. We also enjoyed the breakfast. It’s valet parking only, but the valet team was wonderful and everyone working there was so kind. I’d heard people say they were pestered for tips, but that never happened to us. We’ll definitely stay here again.
