The beach was lovely and just a short walk down the pier, and there was karaoke entertainment by the pool. The kids had fun meeting other kids and playing, while the adults enjoyed the beach and poolside activities. We took a few day trips into St. Augustine since Hibicus Ocean Gate is centrally located. The lighthouse had spectacular 360 views, and we tried some restaurants in town. Hibicus was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, with very friendly staff. It was a great place to stay and meet people by the pool. We’d recommend it and would stay again.
