Hampton Inn St. Augustine Beach

The front desk staff are incredible. Vanessa even remembered us from our visit last year. Our rooms were clean and comfortable, and the beachfront location made it easy to walk to excellent restaurants. Coffee in the lobby was a nice bonus. We’ll definitely be back soon.

Don’t stay here. The staff were incredibly rude on several occasions, and service skipped our room entirely. I had to ask for towels and a trash bag so I could take care of it myself. The room was disgustingly dirty, and the plumbing was bad enough that the toilet leaked. Breakfast was awful too. The only decent thing was that the beach was a quick walk away.

The room was clean and comfortable, and the hotel’s location worked well for us, but the staff are what made the stay. Vanessa and Abigail welcomed us so warmly, and Tatiana and Winston were just as friendly and helpful throughout. Everyone seemed to work together naturally while still making us feel looked after. We had a fantastic visit and would gladly come back to Hampton Inn St. Augustine Beach. I’d recommend it to anyone visiting St. Augustine Beach.

The front desk ladies were kind, and our room was clean and comfortable. The location is a big plus too: it’s right on the beach, which is unusual for St. Augustine, and close to historic downtown. You get both in one stay. A couple things bothered me. I thought it was rude when adults and kids came to breakfast in pajamas and barefoot. I mentioned it to the manager, who said they couldn’t control what guests wore. I also didn’t like smelling pot from guest rooms or having someone smoke it right beside me at the pool.
