This was my third stay, after two wonderful business trips, and I came back for a weekend away hoping for the same experience. The hotel is clean, right by the beach, and within easy walking distance of plenty of places to eat and drink. But this visit was a real letdown, especially the service, and I didn't feel much of the Hilton brand I remembered from two years ago. My AC was extremely noisy on the first night and swung between too hot and too cold. When I asked the desk the next morning to have maintenance check it, the two people I spoke with were blunt and seemed unwilling to help, even though I was polite. Later my door jammed and wouldn't open, and again I felt like I was a burden. Housekeeping left sheets in the room on the second night, apparently for a change, but never came by or asked whether I wanted service. I got no service at all during my three-night stay, though it was supposed to be every other day. Also, my Hilton Honors daily food and beverage credit was first applied as points, so it had to be refunded at checkout. I hate leaving a bad review, but this stay was rough.

Breakfast was the highlight for me. Victor, the Chef, made a delicious omelet and came out himself to check that I was happy with it. Beatrice looked after me as my waitress, and Shelby at the desk helped with my reservation. I travel a lot, and it's rare to meet a team that feels this genuinely friendly.

The location was my favorite part, with the beach just a short walk away and lots of food choices in the historic district, about a 10-minute drive. The room was clean and had plenty of space, and the whole visit went really well. Shelby made check-in and checkout easy and answered the questions I had during my stay.

I'm a travel nurse and spend plenty of time in hotels, but the people here were the nicest and most accommodating I've encountered. I came for the beach, yet even if it had rained the whole visit I still would have left very satisfied. Partly cloudy weather was actually nice too, since it stayed cooler and I wasn't as likely to get too burnt. It reminded me of family trips in Europe when my dad, a commercial airline pilot who looked like a veteran, was recognized as a Veteran at fancy hotels and treated like gold, especially my brother and me. The staff here made me feel that same kind of care.

Shelby at the front desk was fantastic and gave us useful information about the area. The restaurant staff cooking on 04.12 2026 when we left were also awesome. I didn't get their names, but they prepared our food wonderfully for the drive home to Georgia. We had a clean, comfortable hotel for our quick spring break trip, in a convenient spot close to everything. We'll definitely come back and tell family and friends about you.
