This vacation with my mom was a once-in-a-lifetime chance, but after paying $580, the place and stay weren't worth the cost. I can't afford to book somewhere else now. Unbelievable! The listing on booking.com called it a beachfront condo, which is far from accurate. It's a rundown motel converted into apartments, and the apartment was just okay. It's across the street from the ocean and doesn't even have an ocean view. If I'd expected to walk a mile to the beach, I could have rented a motel and driven there. The listing also said there was a security system. We couldn't find it until we checked beside the back sliding glass doors. It wasn't set, and we weren't even sure it worked.
