Hawthorn Extended Stay by Wyndham Saint Clairsville

Maria at the front desk was so kind and accommodating. She was excellent.

The rooms were very clean, and the check-in staff were friendly. We’d been told breakfast started at 5:30 AM, but when we came down at 7:15, the coffee carafe had only about a cup and a half left. Three creamers barely lightened my eight-ounce cup. Two employees were sitting in the dining area chatting with a guest. They didn’t refill the food or coffee, and talked with the guest about food costs. We had to interrupt them to ask where to pour the coffee we couldn’t drink. The hotel itself was nice, but the morning employees were very unprofessional.

For someone working in the O&G industry, this place feels like home away from home. The staff have always been accommodating, and they’re on top of any needs or concerns. It’s a well-kept facility with a welcoming atmosphere, and there’s breakfast in the morning and snacks in the evening. By far one of the best hotels I’ve stayed at. Thanks for everything you do for us.

We’re just wrapping up our stay at Hawthorn Suites in St. Clairsville, OH, and it was the management and staff who made it feel so welcoming and homey. They greeted us warmly, helped with anything that would make us more comfortable, and were efficient, kind, and genuinely friendly. Our suite was roomier than other hotel suites we’ve had, with enough beds for the whole family, a full kitchen, and a large bathroom. I used the fitness room and had what I needed for a good workout, including towels and a water cooler. Each evening the manager offered complimentary appetizers and drinks. We had Swedish meatballs and macaroni and cheese one night, then pulled pork and coleslaw another. Fresh water was in the lobby each day, along with cookies, and breakfast was plentiful: waffles, bacon one day and sausage the next, biscuits and sausage gravy, eggs, muffins, cereal, bagels, toast, pastries, coffee, and juices. The suite and amenities alone earned a positive review, but the staff’s professionalism and kindness made the stay feel perfect. Thanks for a wonderful visit! :)
