Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott St. Cloud

Rachel checked me in, and she was so friendly and took care of anything I needed. She made the stay wonderful. I learned later that she's the GM, so if someone else checks you in, I'd recommend asking for her during your visit. Her staff are great too, and they make you feel just as well looked after. I was there for a week, with hot breakfast and fresh coffee ready each morning at 6am. My room was clean and cozy, and the hotel felt clean and cozy as well. I'll definitely stay again when I'm in Saint Cloud or passing through. Five stars, and I'd give it 100 if I could.

On Thursday, October 26, 2023, Jarrlon helped me. He was patient, kind, and professional, and seemed dedicated to his work. I found a nice upgrade in my room even though I hadn't asked for one. My room was comfortable and very clean both nights, and I've never had a bad stay here. Michelle, the manager, was friendly and helpful too. I first stayed on Tuesday, October 24, 2023. Linda had some trouble with the reservation system, but she stayed calm and welcoming. She offered me water while I waited, and the issue was sorted out quickly. I appreciated the way I was treated. Keep up the good work, and thank you!

I stayed for seven weeks for work and said yes to housekeeping when I checked in. Trash was already left under and beside the couch when I arrived. A week later, I still hadn't gotten clean towels or sheets. I asked a housekeeper working nearby for towels, then asked her to change the sheets since it had been almost two weeks. She was very nice and did it, but nobody ever serviced the room again. The bathroom was getting moldy, and even after I called the front desk, asked about service, and was told they'd come the next day, no one showed. The desk clerk said service was between 9-3 and rudely asked if I'd requested it at check-in. Staff cleaned other rooms on my floor, but skipped mine and my coworkers' rooms. I had no do-not-disturb signs up. The washing machine wouldn't take quarters when I tried doing laundry. A man at the front desk said it wasn't his problem and was maintenance's issue. I also kept seeing two cars in the back lot outside my window, with people hanging around them all day. I started noticing what looked like drug deals, with people coming over, exchanging something with the men in the cars, then leaving. Those men would also be in the lobby when I went down for coffee. I don't know what's going on there, but I'd stay far away. What a dump.

The continental breakfast is fresh and delicious, and the rooms are clean and quiet. I've stayed here several times over the last six years, and each visit has been a great experience. The staff are welcoming, helpful, and friendly. The location is fantastic, just minutes from great sites and shops. I'd highly recommend it to anyone visiting St. Cloud.
