Clarion Suites St George - Convention Center Area

We all slept well in this quiet area, and breakfast had lots of choices. The service was kind and sweet. Our room was clean and smelled nice, though the bathroom felt a bit cramped, especially when shutting the door. There was plenty of counter space for women. I’d recommend staying here.

They let us cancel after the first night, which was good. We moved to Comfort Inn up the street for ten dollars more, and it was a much cleaner, better experience. This motel felt unusually dirty for the price: the carpet was nasty, there were gummy-looking dirty spots on the counter, hair beside the tub, and black mold on the ceiling and bathroom trim.

For a family of five, it was good value. The staff were friendly, breakfast was hot and free, and the pool was open. The fitness room was adequate. Our room looked worn but was clean, and the beds were comfortable.

We are going medically bankrupt because my husband broke his hip. We stayed there a year ago, in May 2025, while it was raining. The outdoor stairs were slippery, poorly lit, and still had debris because housekeeping hadn't cleared enough from the several stairways. My husband, who is 68 now, slipped and fell. They promised to pay his medical bills right away, but then the lawyers got involved. After an independent investigation in dry conditions, they said it was his fault.
