Claridge Inn

At $58 for the night, I had no real complaints. I stayed one night in late February 2026. The Wi-Fi held up, and the lights and electronics I tried all worked. The room was clean, without odd smells or bugs, and the bed was comfortable enough. The shower stayed hot, though the temperature handle was janky and should be replaced. The women at the front desk were helpful enough. I’d stay again.

The manager was rude and unprofessional, and hung up when we tried to talk to her. Our adult son arrived after midnight and found the person checking them in with bloodshot eyes and no shoes. In the room, the locks were broken and there was a strong smell of smoke, despite this being a non-smoking hotel. The manager begged them to stay and said it “wasn't a big deal.” My son went to a gas station and spoke with police about the hotel. They told them to leave as soon as possible. It felt scary and unsafe, and the experience was awful.

For my work trip to St. George, this was just what I needed. The rooms were clean, nice, and spacious, and the owner was friendly when I saw him at the property. I also got to use the pool. Would recommend.

The housekeeping staff have been kind and helpful each time we've stayed, and the location works really well for the places we visit nearby. The rooms are a little dated, though generally clean, and could use some maintenance. My husband tightened a faucet handle that was nearly falling off, and the shower pressure is terrible. The person who checks us in is dry and not very personable, but does the job.
