Days Inn by Wyndham Downtown St. Louis

We took one look at the room and left. There was blood all over the sink, and the building smelled strongly of weed, with abandoned, sketchy-looking buildings around it. The late fees were higher than the room itself. I booked somewhere else right away. Stay away.

I stayed Nov 19-22'2025, and the room issue was never properly sorted out. They moved me the next day after I asked, but the replacement was another smoking room. I’d told the front desk I couldn’t breathe in a smoking room, yet the middle-aged man there blamed me for having reserved one. I had no idea that was what I’d booked. He didn’t offer an air freshener or another room at the time. The service felt very unprofessional, and I don’t understand how this hotel is still part of the Wyndham chain.

The fitness center was full of old mattresses, and the bathroom ceiling had some weird goop on it. The lobby windows were boarded up, the included breakfast was badly lacking, and the handicap button on the doors didn’t work. Honestly, I’d rather sleep in a dirty alley. Worst hotel I’ve ever been in.

I canceled as soon as I arrived. The lobby looked like it was falling apart, and the place is nowhere near anything. They wouldn’t hold our luggage, and early check-in came with strict, expensive fees, even with Wyndham status. I found a room within walking distance of the arch for just $10 more. There’s no reason to stay here. Go somewhere else.
