Global Luxury Suites at the Gateway Arch

After four nights here, I’d rate this Embassy Suites higher than its current score. The room had lots of space, and I enjoyed the pool and workout area. Breakfast was fantastic, and the evening reception was a nice extra. Staff were courteous and helpful throughout. This is one of the best Embassy Suites I’ve stayed at.

The Atrium’s food was good at both breakfast and dinner, and the free breakfast had plenty of options. I appreciated having until noon to check out after our three business nights. But at 9:30 on Sunday morning, room service knocked to ask if I’d left, even though I was trying to sleep in and take my time getting ready and having breakfast. I’m glad I wasn’t in the shower, or she might have come in. The quiet hours were 10pm to 6am, but the walls were thin and noisy neighbors kept us awake, screaming at each other for much of the night. There isn’t really self parking, so you have to valet and pay for overnight parking. I wish that were included in the rate since there’s no real alternative.

We stayed from Christmas until Saturday, and the whole team was so polite. The room was very clean and had plenty of towels. Breakfast had a welcoming feel, and it was lovely to see the cooks go above and beyond. Ridge was great to see in action. Tera handled the happy hour rush with a smile, good vibes, and patience with everyone. Valet was quick, even when we switched cars, and they made getting a new sticker easy. The front desk woman with the amazing style greeted us every time, which made us feel good. It was a beautiful stay, thanks again!

The people made our visit special. Kim had started packing up to leave when we arrived at the cocktail lounge, but she stopped to make me a lemon drop martini, my new favorite, and kindly prepared drinks for the guests behind us too. At breakfast, Lamont made an omelet just how I wanted it, and Adidya greeted me warmly. When the front desk agent had stepped out for a break as we were checking out at 6:30am, Bagdad did everything possible to help us on our way. Ahmaree was warm and reassuring at check-in. Our room felt grand, with lots of space, nice furnishings, and a cozy feel. The shower was magnificent and roomy enough for two. The breakfast buffet had every fresh item I could have hoped for. We had a fabulous experience and will stay again if we get the chance.
