Super 8 by Wyndham St. Louis North

The staff were great, and the place was clean apart from the stains that showed its age. But the room was meant to be accessible and definitely wasn't. Breakfast was very limited, with nothing hot.

There were cigarette ends scattered outside and a spare tire left in the parking lot. The Guest Laundry couldn't be used because there was no washer, and in the evening I was told towels wouldn't be available until 8 in the morning. The elevator button was unreliable too, sometimes it just wouldn't work. Do not stay here!

I was there for an extended stay and rarely got a quiet night's sleep. Even though there were only about eight cars in a lot serving at least 60 rooms, they kept putting loud guests right next door, with paper-thin walls between us. I don't know why they did that when there were plenty of empty rooms to spread people out. I got woken up by couples making noise or someone blasting music in the next room. An awful stay.

I had been staying here for work almost every other day for about a month, but I'm going somewhere else now. I left this morning after staying the night and had bites all over me, though I had no bumps when I arrived. I went back to ask the owner to check the room for spiders or bedbugs before I spent money seeing a doctor. I wanted to make sure it wasn't a spider bite that could make me sick or infected. He was rude and disrespectful, saying they don't have these issues and that he'd put powder down. Any hotel can have a problem like this, so I was only asking him to check. The way he treated me was unprofessional and made it seem like he didn't care, though I know he won't care about losing a customer. If you stay in rooms 205, 203, 209, 210, or 211, there could be bedbugs.
