A nice hotel and conference center in a lovely, accessible area. The service was excellent, with kind and helpful people, and the restaurants were good but pricey. Since it's a historic hotel, the rooms vary a lot: some are small and simple, while others have space to relax or entertain.

This was the worst customer experience I've had. I called with what seemed like simple questions and could barely get answers. Before my wife checked in today, I asked if there was anything I needed to do and was assured everything would be fine. It wasn't. The employees offered excuses instead of solutions, then tried to defend what happened with more excuses and no apology. If the booking hadn't been prepaid, I would have canceled at the desk. They ruined my weekend.

I had a wonderful stay. Caitlyn, the manager, and Anthony from security went out of their way to help find my phone and made sure it got safely back to me. I really appreciated their kindness, professionalism, and dedication.

The Royal Sonesta Chase feels like a longtime StLouis favorite with a modern touch, and it's beautiful inside and out. The rooms are suites, with plenty of space, comfort, and cleanliness. I loved having a microwave in the room. It's my first stay, but definitely won't be my last. The hotel has two restaurants: The Chase is for sports bar and grill fans, while The Preston is more like medium fine dining. I wanted the Scallop Ceviche, but they were out until 7:30. There's even a movie theater inside the Sonesta showing current films several times during the week. For $14 you get popcorn, a drink, and the movie. Better than Netflix and chill.

I travel a lot for work in the US and abroad, and the Chase Park Plaza and its people are easily among my top five hotel experiences. The historic building is stunning, comfortable, and has covered on-site parking and three amazing restaurants, but the staff are what make it special. My first visit was great, and after this past week I was almost sad to move on. The front desk team set me up in an incredible executive suite on the top floor, and I hope others get to experience that kind of stay. Thanks to the two young women who checked me in, Rhonda in the restaurants, and Madeline at The Preston in the lobby. Everyone left a lasting impression and made St. Louis feel like a home away from home.
