Holiday Inn Express & Suites Chehalis-Centralia

The noise carries badly in these rooms. I hear every step from the person above me, and the floor squeaks so loudly that earplugs don’t help. You can hear housekeeping knocking on doors in the morning too.

Update: We booked through Chase Travel (Expedia), so the hotel had limited flexibility. After several calls, we did reach a solution. We really appreciate the hotel manager’s patience and support in handling it. The train goes right across the street, and even the sleep kits from the front desk didn’t let us get much sleep. This was one of our worst Holiday Inn Express stays. If noise at night bothers you, ask for a quieter room when you check in.

My kids liked having separate beds in the bunk bed room, and we’d stay here again. The beds and pillows were the softest I’ve had in a hotel in a long time. Our room was clean and updated, with all the amenities we needed. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast had lots of choices, and they refilled things quickly when they ran out.

The casino and the nearby hotels were sold out, so we stayed here in the next town over. It turned out lovely. Everyone was friendly and helpful, breakfast was included, and the beds were comfortable. Very nice!
