Coral Reef Beach

This is a timeshare with about 60 units, and owners have been coming back for their weeks for years. The front desk is helpful to a fault, so ask if you need something, and be generous. There isn't a bar on site yet, but the cabana bar is about two feet away on the beach. The resort is between TradeWinds and Rumfish, though it's only a neighbor of TradeWinds, with no affiliation. There are two pools and three hot tubs. It used to be even bigger, and it has the best pool on the beach.

I wanted a real review before booking, so here's ours: the room smelled a little musty when we first arrived, but once the AC was on, it was super clean. We had a one-bedroom condo with a king bed and a very comfy mattress. The water pressure wasn't the best, but that's something you can live with for a temporary stay. The pool area is fabulous, with nice facilities right at Saint Pete Beach and access to the beach. You can get a cabana or head down to the sand. We thought it was good value for money. Pick up groceries down the street and go out for dinner. Everyone was really nice, and I'd recommend this resort for couples, families with kids, or older guests. We've stayed at nearby resorts several times and been fine there, but they keep getting more expensive. This is a timeshare condo, though some rooms seem to be available as rentals, so if you get one, enjoy.

The beach was just steps from our room, and we loved taking in the Gulf of Mexico at sunrise and sunset. The views were breathtaking. Our family, especially my four daughters, had an unforgettable vacation at Coral Reefs Resort in St. Pete Beach, Florida. There was plenty to do. We rented a jet ski and rode along the coast, tried the zip line for its panoramic views, and spent time on the water slide, which the kids especially loved. The pool and Jacuzzi were also a nice place to unwind. We could use facilities at the neighboring resort too, which gave us more activities to choose from. The staff were friendly and attentive, always ready to help with a smile, and room service was prompt. Our needs were taken care of. With the natural beauty, service, and activities, I'm seriously thinking about buying a time share here. St. Pete Beach is a hidden gem, and we left grateful, already thinking about coming back. Coral Reefs Resort exceeded our expectations, and we'll cherish the trip.

The resort itself was nice and clean, but our oceanfront view was partly blocked by a large tent on the beach at the neighboring Tradewinds. On the other side of this nice resort, Tradewinds also has what looks like a dumping ground. I wish we'd been told about these things beforehand. We would have picked another resort.
