Days Inn by Wyndham St. Petersburg Central

It really felt like a home away from home, thanks to staff who were friendly, attentive, and always ready to help with what I needed. The hotel itself was very clean, comfortable, and well cared for. I had a wonderful stay and will absolutely be back. Highly recommend!

We booked another hotel after less than an hour here. Driving up gave me a horrible, unsafe feeling, and once inside we started cleaning because of the mildew smell. The towels we used came away yellow. I tried to tell myself I could manage if the door locked, but the top lock barely held when the door was open, and someone could open it with a slight push. At the front desk we explained we couldn’t stay. She said she’d charge us for a day because we’d been there over half an hour, even though it was less than an hour and we’d spent time wiping things down and booking another place. Wyndham having its name on this kind of hotel is hard to understand. That was the only reason we booked. If you want to feel safe, don’t book here.

Nice, clean room. The parking is tight, and sometimes it’s a trek to get to your room. Find a space early, between 11:00 and 2:30. There’s no elevator, so if mobility is an issue, ask for the first floor. The front desk was especially wonderful. Thanks, Mellisa and Becky!

Rebecca at the front desk made me feel welcome, was helpful and accommodating, and suggested a few good restaurants nearby. At checkout, Melissa was friendly too. I stopped at this cozy little hotel for a couple of days and had a wonderful time. The room was clean and cozy, with the largest TVs I’ve ever seen in a hotel. It’s perfect for a little getaway, and I’d gladly stay again and again.
