The pool was great, and there were pool toys for our grandchildren. Getting to the beach was a short, scenic walk, and the sunrise from there was spectacular. Our suite faced the side, but had a private, clean view; the neighbors were considerate and it was quiet overall. Another good place to stay, though the cleaning fee seems steep. It’s based on the general public rather than guests who respect the place and leave it as clean as they found it.

We rent a condo here through Real Escapes every year and always have a good time. Some rooms are dated, though the amenities and appliances are up to date. Every room has a balcony, but a few don’t have much of a view. The pool is small and usually full of kids in summer. There’s a nice boardwalk to the beach with a combination gate for extra security, plus a pet area, grills, and volleyball space. Very family friendly. A lot of a vacation is what you make of it, and we make sure to have fun.

The boardwalk to the beach feels like its own nature trail, and the pool is nice. My husband and I love the island and have stayed at Shipwatch two years in a row. It’s clean, comfortable, and beautifully furnished. We hate leaving, but we’ll be back. 💗😊

Worst place ever. The furniture needs replacing, locks and door tracks are rusty, and the oven door was off track with a broken bracket. The rugs and mats are extremely worn, the dish cloths are ragged, and the blinds are broken. There are too many bad pictures to fit in one review.
