Holiday Inn Express Saint Simons Island by IHG

The room and service were both great, and I plan to come back around Christmas. A couple of details kept it from being five stars: my shower floor had a stain, scratches, and maybe a small crack, and a little corner shelf would be useful for toiletries. I know it was Thanksgiving, but I would have appreciated someone checking whether I needed more coffee or tea for the evening and next morning.

This was the cleanest Holiday Inn I’ve stayed in for a while, by far. The rest of the staff worked hard too, and I’m looking forward to staying here again for business trips. At check-in, Yva was calm and welcoming, with a lovely smile. Ms Nicole greeted me at breakfast the same way and was friendly and helpful to the guests and the other staff, including the front desk.

The hotel could use some TLC, but the location is a big plus, especially in peak season. There’s no traffic, and Brunswick is about 10 minutes away. I’ll be back. Rihanna at Holiday Inn Express made check-in feel like coming home with her warm, compassionate, professional care. I was impressed enough to sign up for IHG Rewards alongside my Hilton Honors, because service like that deserves recognition. Today, Samantha was just as hospitable, courteous, and kind.

10-10-25, between 4pm and 5pm, my family and I tried to check in with our service dog after a long day on the road and being stuck in traffic behind a car accident. The woman working the counter was rude as soon as we came in. She apparently believes service animals aren't allowed at this Holiday Inn on St Simon. She doesn't know how to treat customers. If you have a service animal, don't waste your time coming here.
