After long workdays, the clean, well-kept room was a comfortable place to rest. The staff were professional, attentive, and helpful throughout my stay at Hampton Inn Swedesboro Philadelphia. For business travel, the convenient access and easy check-in made things simple, and service was dependable at all hours. I’d recommend it to business or leisure travelers looking for reliability and quality. I’ll definitely stay with Hilton again, both in the US and internationally.

We were told to leave at 7:30 pm, after I asked why the front desk employee was speaking to us so aggressively. I was there with my adult daughter, three boys aged 5, 4, and 2, and a baby. He acted like a bully toward both of us, spoke as if we were beneath him, and wouldn’t give us a chance to settle the children, who had been playing and making more noise than we realized. His rude, unprofessional manner escalated the situation. We had to find somewhere else to stay, and I felt bullied and discriminated against as a senior woman with my 40 year old professional daughter and the children. The manager’s response was that the employee wouldn’t have asked us to leave if we’d just been quiet when told. There was no concern about how aggressively and nastily he handled it, or that I asked him why. He hadn’t come to the room two or three times before this. We’d stayed here many times with my grown daughter and her two young ones, and everyone had always been friendly; we enjoyed it and returned. We’ve also been here when ball teams were very loud. I hadn’t realized our kids could be heard outside the room. We’d overlooked room and cleanliness issues because we liked the staff and our visits, but after this experience I wouldn’t bring young children who play or sometimes speak loudly.

The breakfast tasted great, and the staff served it with a smile. I was only stopping in for a business trip, but they treated me like family. Friendly, great service all around. This would be my first choice if I’m back in the area.

The pool was nice and well looked after, and breakfast was excellent. The woman replenishing the food did a great job and was eager to make sure everyone had what they needed. Staff in general were especially friendly and helpful, and we had a pleasant stay. Our room was otherwise good, though it smelled a little musty, so I took off a star for that. A staff member brought us an air freshener.
