Seaport Inn

There was hammering inside the house all the time, while road work outside brought asphalt, diesel fumes, and dust through the day. At 8 a.m., leaf blowers came into the locked private patio that looks into our room. The two women managing the place were snappy and basically yelled when we tried to talk with them. Staff didn't seem to care. We felt like we were vacationing at a construction site. Other guests we met, who had stayed for two months, said the new owners were driving away returning customers. We also heard they have more than 250 units around town, which made us feel like a number instead of a person. This place clearly doesn't care about its customers.

I booked on a whim the day before our last-minute trip to Key West, and the location ended up being my favorite part. Everything was within walking distance. My room was spacious, beautiful, and clean, and I made use of the pool. It has that old Key West feel, and they welcome pets, which is a big plus for me. I'm already thinking about coming back.

The setup was just right, the bed and pool were great, and I had a really fun stay ❤️ I liked that they left me alone, since I hate small talk after a long drive. The instructions were all written clearly, and the pool stays open at night too.

The location suited us perfectly, about three blocks from Duval St. and two from the wharfs. Our room had its own porch and was only around ten steps from the pool. It was a good size, clean, and maid service was spot on every time. The staff worked around our arrival and departure schedule and were very accommodating. We loved the Seaport Inn Key West and would happily stay again. We didn't try the buffet breakfast at the sister property, Courtney's Place, so I can't comment on it.
