Alexander's Guesthouse - Adults Only

Tim greeted us with so much warmth, helped us find parking, and even surprised us with a free room upgrade. Our room felt like a quiet little retreat, spotless and beautifully furnished, just steps from the pool deck. The pool area is serene, and the main house is gorgeous. From the street, Alexander's Guesthouse looks unassuming, but inside you're met with genuine care and friendliness. It's on a quiet street, about a five-minute walk from the parking garage and ten minutes from busy Duval, so we could unwind in what felt like a tucked-away paradise. The daily poolside happy hour comes with a complimentary drink, and the bartender was hilarious and great to chat with. We had to leave at 5 a.m., before breakfast, but Tim offered to put together snacks so we wouldn't go hungry. So kind. I felt more at home here than I do at home. If I'm back in Key West, this is where I'll stay.

Michael, Roman, and Souna deserve a special mention for their kindness and hospitality. The whole team was welcoming, friendly, and professional, and they made our two-night visit feel special from the start. My wife and I felt right at home. Alexander’s Guesthouse is cozy and well cared for, with a warm feel that made it a relaxing place to stay. We felt genuinely looked after throughout the visit. We're already looking forward to coming back, and would highly recommend it to anyone wanting a memorable stay.

We hope to keep coming back for years. This was our second year in a row at Alexander's, after eloping here in January 2025, and we left feeling just as relaxed as before. The staff are what make the place special. Everyone was warm and genuine, checked that we were enjoying ourselves, and offered recommendations readily. The rooms are cleaned quickly and very thoroughly each day, with fresh towels often, which matters in Key West's humidity. The pool and bar are great for hanging out and meeting other guests, especially at daily happy hour. It's in a peaceful, walkable neighborhood, with the busy stretch of Duval about a 15-minute walk away.

The room was clean, bright, and thoughtfully equipped. It felt roomy despite being small. Two friendly team members welcomed us, showed us around, and pointed out the amenities. Complimentary drinks and a generous happy hour were a nice finish to our first day.
