I stay in hotels and motels every week for work, and this is easily the quietest, cleanest, most comfortable one I've found. Ignore the sign and the awful reviews. Whenever I'm in town, I'll stay here every time!

We got in around 5 p.m. on the way to Big Bend and had a quick check-in. There's a working ice machine by the office, and it turned out to be a lovely place to spend the night. Dinner choices are limited, so we went with the Sonic up the road, which was another good experience. The motel has recently been renovated, and it's clean, quiet, and independently owned. A nice overnight stop in Stamford.

The TV wasn't high definition, but I was working and didn't care much about that. What mattered was that I felt safe and cozy, and the rate was reasonable. The sheets were good quality, the rooms had been updated as other reviews said, and the tiled bathroom had plenty of hot water. For such a small town, it was nice to find a motel this well cared for. I appreciate the owner's effort and would stay again.

We've been returning to the Deluxe Inn for our hunting trips for 11 years straight. The people there are a pleasure to deal with and be around. Rooms are cleaned and fresh towels are provided daily. It's hard to ask for a better place where you feel welcome.

It doesn't look like much from the outside, but the rooms were comfortable and decently updated. This little hole-in-the-wall motel surprised me.
