The Asher

After several visits to the Stamford area over the past five years, finding a good place to stay has always been difficult. Hyatus at the Asher was easily the best accommodation I've had here. The beds were comfortable, there was no annoying noise, and the furnishings and decor felt high quality. The bathroom had a luxurious feel, the kitchen was well equipped, and the walk-in closet was roomy. The building itself feels luxurious as well, with outstanding amenities. The game room was the best we've seen, and the business center was a handy place to get work done.

The staff were kind, apologetic, quick to respond, and ready to do what it took to fix things. Our apartment hadn't been cleaned properly, so they sent someone to thoroughly clean it when it suited us. There was also a moldy blanket on the bed, and the shower nozzle was broken. I worry about mold in wall units and don't use them myself, so we open the windows if needed. The location was wonderful. Even with those problems, I gave five stars because I don't think this reflects their usual care. Friends have stayed here without complaints. The beds were firm but very comfortable and supportive, and I appreciated that there wasn't any fragrance smell inside. The courtyard view was beautiful. I would have liked stainless steel pots and pans instead of the Teflon ones they provide. I also appreciated how quickly staff were available to help.

With its central spot in downtown Stamford, the building is within walking distance of everything. The condo has a nice layout, a renovated kitchen and bathroom, and looks over an inner courtyard with firepits and outdoor dining. The rooftop pool is great. Staff were very responsive when we needed anything. There’s also a great gym, a golf simulator, and pool tables below the lobby. A really special place to visit in CT.

This is our third stay this year, and we keep finding the apartment clean and well equipped. The bathroom is huge, the beds are queens, and the appliances are great, including a full-size washer and dryer. The location is fantastic and feels very secure. Covered parking and the amenities are excellent, especially the gym. We've tried both the one-bedroom and the one-bedroom with den. For two people, the one-bedroom gives you more space, and its pull-out sofa is comfortable. The den setup is great when traveling with three.
