The only small thing I’d change is the bathroom mirror light. It switches off with the main light, even though it would be handy as a dim nightlight for a late bathroom trip. Maybe the two could be separate in rooms still waiting for renovation. That barely counts as a complaint, though. Our room was new and spotless, and the motel was a great deal. There was construction gear and storage containers in the lot, but no workers or noise while we were there. We arrived after 10 pm, found the TV wasn’t working, and someone from the office came over right away to fix it.

The room was great, and I’d only suggest adding a coffee maker alongside the fridge and microwave. The owners were friendly and attentive, and it’s an easy walk to the center of Starke. A great place to stay, and I’d recommend it.

Paul runs this independently owned place with his family and clearly takes pride in it. He was welcoming and the customer service was wonderful. My friend and I stayed here this weekend because we were going to see Morgan wallen in gainsville and wanted an affordable area. The rooms were very clean, and the shower looked beautiful. I’d definitely recommend it if you want a clean, affordable option.

We arrived around 1:30 am and they were still friendly and accommodating. Paul, the owner, was especially great to my mother and me. Our room was clean and nice, with a newly remodeled bathroom and brand new mattresses. Some of the property is still under construction, but the rooms that are ready are in good shape. We had a really good stay, with great service, and would stay again if we needed to.

We stopped for one night on the way to the beach, and the rooms were exceptionally clean. The staff were kind and accommodating. Renovations were underway, but they didn’t bother us. We were very pleased.
