Holiday Inn Express & Suites Greenville-Spartanburg (Duncan) by IHG

The hot tub was awesome, and the beds were comfortable. I travel for work, and this place was very quiet and clean. Everyone on staff was friendly and helpful. 🤠🐂🐂 👍

The bathroom was filthy, with hair around the sink, toilet, and shower. The bedding looked old and worn, and the vinyl wood floor was lifting in a corner by the entrance. I checked out right away. I’d been driving since 3 am and chose this place because of its good reviews, but the outside already made me unsure. Check-in took a long time because of new software and manual check-ins. I didn’t mind the delay much, but it gave me time to notice how dirty the lobby floor was. When I got to the room, housekeeping was still working and asked me to wait three minutes. These conditions are unacceptable for people paying for a good night’s rest. The way a hotel maintains its grounds says a lot about how it treats its customers. I don’t recommend staying here. I’d give it zero stars if I could.

The service staff were really good, and Sam helped us out and hosted us well during our three-night stay. Thanks to everyone for working hard and keeping things running smoothly. The breakfast was really good, and we liked the pool and hot tub. The fitness center was good too. The hotel isn’t completely new, and the laundry costs a little more, but there are lots of perks. We had an enjoyable stay and would definitely call it a good hotel.

The internet was my one issue. It was usually only around 10-20 Mbps down, which works for browsing or streaming but not serious work or gaming. The room itself was great, the beds were comfortable, and the AC worked well. Front desk service was exceptional.
