The pool was apparently closed for heat maintenance, but my daughter and I were accommodated at a nearby Marriott hotel pool, which was nice. We were very satisfied with the stay, even as New Yorkers. It was quiet and clean, the staff were friendly, and breakfast was solid. I’d return if I’m in the area.

My room seemed brand new, though I can’t speak for all of them. It was clean and comfortable, and the service was friendly. The free breakfast was a nice extra. The location is great, with Olive Garden and other restaurants close by.

The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the staff are great. One thing, though: please fix the TV mounts. In room 104, it couldn’t pivot far enough to watch comfortably from the bed.

Our car broke down, so we couldn’t arrive on time. I called to explain that the mechanic needed the night to fix it, and we had to stay at another Marriott. They said they’d call back, but didn’t. When I followed up the next day, they said they could do nothing and charged me for the reservation. I’ve been a Platinum Plus member for over two decades and have stayed a thousand nights, but that counted for nothing at Marriott. They told me revenue from the other hotel wouldn’t help them as a franchise. I understand that, but being part of a franchise should come with some expectations and benefits. It was a horrible experience, as others have apparently had too.
