Tahoe Village 307C

The Ridge villa was huge, bigger than most one-bedroom, one-bath apartments, with a spectacular view of Lake Tahoe. It’s set up for four people, with the bedroom upstairs and two bathrooms, one on each floor. The building and room are a bit old, and the elevator is small. I didn’t see any staff on site. It’s very close to two Heavenly lifts. I called someone for the shuttle to Stagecoach lift; it took 5-10 minutes to arrive and another five to get there. Driving to Boulder lift took three minutes.

The room has an amazing view, and the building has great access to the Tahoe Rim Trail and Tramway Marketplace. Since it’s part of the Holiday Inn Club, it’s a bit of a drive to get to and from the club. I’d also like better access to on-site vehicle charging. There were only two chargers, and they were a bit of a walk away.

We had a cute two-level place with lovely views. The bedroom and a bathroom were downstairs, while upstairs had the kitchen, dining area, living and TV room, and another bathroom. No A/C, which I did miss, but there were fans, openable windows, and daytime sun shades. A billiard room was across from our room, and the roof had a Jacuzzi, sauna, and grills. The shuttle was good, and we could use the other resorts too, including the clubhouse with restaurants, a spa, pool, tennis courts, marketplace, and fitness room. Nice stay.

I first found Ridge View on Expedia about two years ago, and now it's the only place I trust when I'm in Tahoe. The rooms are roomy, just like the pictures, and almost spotless. It feels like a home away from home. We could do laundry for free after using the outdoor jacuzzi, and they even supplied detergent. Can't wait to return. Staying there is just the start of the experience.
