Ramada by Wyndham Statesville

The rooms were quiet despite the renovation, and ours had lovely new decor. The bed and pillows were especially comfortable. The sinks, showers, beds, desk, and little sitting nook with a movable desk were all new, and we had a refrigerator, microwave, coffee supplies, and ice bucket. We were driving to Hilton Head, so this was a handy halfway stop. The front desk helped us with what we needed, and we appreciated being able to bring our dog. Breakfast was packed to go because of the remodel, with juice, a muffin, and a microwave breakfast sandwich. There are restaurants nearby if that's not for you. For the price and what we got, we highly recommend it and might stop again on our way home in a few weeks.

The room was clean, brand new, and had a really comfortable bed. They were remodeling, so the usual breakfast wasn't available, but they offered takeaway muffins, Jimmy Dean's sausage sandwiches, and juice, which worked for us. We'd had a bad stay at a different Ramada in another state before, so this was a really good experience.

Our newly renovated room was wonderful, spacious, and comfortable. The front desk woman who checked us in around 10:30 pm on Dec 1st was especially great. I didn't get her name, but she made us feel welcome and made sure we had everything we needed. Thank you!

By far the worst hotel stay I've had. Construction was happening in the room right next to mine from 7am, even though the hotel was open during renovations. The website promised a breakfast buffet, but there wasn't one. They left frozen Jimmy Dean sandwiches outside from the 6:30am breakfast opening. I picked one up at 9am and it was room temperature. There were lots left, so I wondered if they thaw them each day and freeze them again. My room had a microwave but no plates, and staff said they don't provide any. The fitness room was supposedly open, but when I went by there wasn't even a floor to walk on. The shampoo and shower gel felt awful on my skin and hair, like scraping a fork over a plate. Neither of my two laptops could connect to the wifi, and there was no phone service to use a hotspot.
