After skiing, we liked keeping our gear in the ski closet by the lodge entrance and watching Christmas movies on TV each night. The hot tubs were outdoors, and there was enough yard to play in and make snowmen. From the balcony, we could see snow-covered trees and other lodges. Our winter-break stay felt so peaceful. The lodge was cozy, about a five-minute walk from Steamboat ski resort and many restaurants. Our unit had two bedrooms and bathrooms, plus a kitchen, dining room, and living room. All the amenities worked well, including the dishwasher and washer and dryer. The heat was so good that we could run the gas fireplace, which has a timer, and leave a window open for the cold air.

We brought a group of 60, and they let us hold a welcome reception in the common area. Coffee, decaf, hot chocolate, and cider were always available, and the coffee was excellent. The sauna and changing rooms were handy to the pools, hot tubs, and our condo, and connected to the reception desk. Check-in and checkout were both a snap. There were several hot tubs with plenty of free towels; robes for the rooms had to be requested. Our condo was spacious and very clean, and the elevator and garage walkway made getting to the shuttle stop easy. The shuttle setup was fantastic, especially the on-demand option and the rides to and from the slopes. Trapper's crossing quickly fixed a bed issue for our condo-mates, even on a Sunday. Staff were kind, friendly, and quick to help. I've stayed in around 80 ski condos like this over 40 years, and this was one of the best, if not the best. Can't say enough about the place. Awesome!

The shuttles got us around town quickly, and the staff were really friendly. It’s a lovely lodge with spacious condos, pools, and hot tubs.

So far it’s great. We’re in 3201. The housekeeping could be better, though. There was food and crumbs on the floor and table.
