We hadn't planned to stay here, but an I-70 closure led us to book the last room for the night. The price was reasonable for Steamboat, and downtown is only a quick drive away, about 1-2 miles. Even though the hotel was full, there was plenty of room at breakfast. It was good, with a few hot and cold choices, and the woman running the area was helpful and did a great job cleaning and preparing everything. Our room was clean and nice. The pool is small but well maintained, while the hot tub is much larger and spacious. Road construction was happening in front of the hotel, but it didn't seem to affect our stay. I recommend staying here.

The front desk staff were friendly and helpful throughout our comfortable two-day family stay. Our room was clean and presentable when we arrived, and nothing else caused a major problem. The bathroom exhaust fan didn't work, though, so after a shower it became steamy unless we left the door open.

The breakfast was the biggest and nicest I've ever seen, with something for everyone, including eggs, omelets, bacon, and fresh cantaloupe. The staff were superb and very helpful, especially Melinda. Our room was great, with a comfortable bed, lots of pillows, and a thoughtfully laid-out space. Even in the middle of ski season, the pool and hot tub never seemed crowded. We got great food recommendations and had pizza delivered to our door. We had a truly lovely stay and hope to be back soon.

We got upgraded to a spacious king spa room with an electric fireplace during our overnight visit to steamboat springs. Check-in was easy, the front desk guy was helpful, and complimentary parking was a nice perk. The room was clean apart from the shower supplies: the shampoo and conditioner were completely empty, and conditioner was smeared down the bottle as if it hadn't been cleaned after the previous guest.

We paid an extra $15 for a room with a whirlpool spa, and it turned a good stay into a great one. The hotel is hard to beat for the price, with comfortable beds, spacious rooms, tasty breakfast, a good location, and everything looking new. We'll stay here again on our next visit to Steamboat Springs.
