We had a great visit, and the facilities were good, including the pool, gym, and hot tub. The condo felt a bit dated, with older furniture and the same color on the walls, trim, and ceiling. The kitchen had plenty of cookware. There’s no air conditioner for summer visits and no elevator, so keep that in mind if altitude is an issue for you. We had a nice mountain view, and town was a fairly short drive or bus ride away. The rodeo was lots of fun, and we also went to the free concert at Howelsen Hill. Sunset cocktail hour at the top of the Steamboat came with an amazing view.

The condo has its own patio and direct outside access, and everything is just steps away: pickleball, tennis, a full gym, a large lap pool, secluded grotto hot tubs, a big patio for BBQs and parties, a restaurant, and Strings music venue. Living here for the summer has been wonderful. The mini gondola goes straight to the mountain hub during ski season. It’s been very quiet so far, the shared facilities are pristine, and Vacasa has responded quickly to questions and issues. When someone asked for guidance on installing mini-splits with the compressor between the pillar and exterior wall on the patio, the HOA president personally advised about covering it. That shows the HOA takes the building's consistent, attractive exterior seriously. I hope they also deal quickly with the dead tree outside the bedroom window so the landscaping keeps looking lovely. Right now it looks awful, and a living tree would block the view of condo garages across the way. In summer, the condo is surrounded by cool shade trees; in winter, you can see Voodoo, where mogul skiers practice and compete. Winter entry is through the lobby, while patio access is maintained. A few minutes by car, free bus, or on-demand pickup gets you to Wildhorse Marketplace, with retail, restaurants, a theater, a beauty salon, and more. A bit farther is Central Park plaza, with City Market, WalMart, Christy Sports, a taco place, bagels, a pet store, and more. Downtown is a few minutes beyond that, with Old Town Hot Springs, Johnny B's, and plenty of restaurants and shops. I'm very pleased with the condo, especially the kitchen, the queen Terpurpedic bed, the double sofa bed, the amenities, the HOA, Vacasa management, the unbeatable location, Steamboat's small-town charm, and Colorado's breathtaking beauty. This place has it all. Wendy Harvey at Steamboat Elite, the property manager, is the best. She handles all the details, has lived here a long time, has a family of avid skiers, and is a fabulous Steamboat ambassador. The condo will be available to rent Nov-May by night, week, or month/s, FCFS via Steamboat Elite Properties. PS. My dog Baxter loves it here, too.

Everything was very clean and well stocked. The pool, workout room, lockers, and hot tubs were all clean and in great shape. We were on the third floor, which meant hauling skis and boots up and down, yikes. We were given just one set of keys, a hassle for two families.

The accommodations were comfortable, with nice amenities including a pool, hot tubs, and workout rooms. It’s close to the Whitehorse lift, which goes straight to Steamboat Village.

A great place that worked perfectly for our family of four.
