Our room had two king beds, which was a first for us and such a nice surprise. It also had a great resort view and was set up well for skiing, with a handy armoire and built-in drawers that held two suitcases. The room felt almost new. The hot tub was big and very hot. There’s a free city bus stop right outside the hotel corner, making it easy to get to the slopes or downtown. It was our first visit, and we’d definitely stay again. Highly recommend!

The staff were thoughtful throughout our stay. They replaced a refrigerator within an hour of our asking and brought a K-cup coffee maker even faster. They also took little suggestions seriously, like adding a clock to the hot tub room and offering loaner ice scrapers and snow brushes after snowfall. Breakfast had plenty of choices, and the made-to-order pancakes were great. Our room had enough space for four people, all our ski gear, and several extra Christmas boxes without feeling crowded. The beds and pillows were very comfortable after long days on the mountain, and the large, spotless jacuzzi was perfect for après-ski. Everything felt easy and comfortable from start to finish. We’d absolutely stay again for a Steamboat ski trip.

The only drawback was the location at the edge of town, with no restaurants or other places within walking distance. Still, everything is only a 10-minute drive away, and we’d happily stay here again. The rooms were amazingly clean and quiet, with spotless bathrooms, good water pressure and temperature, and a very comfortable bed and pillows. I haven’t been to an HIE in a long time, but this Holiday Inn Express was fabulous. We honestly didn’t want to get out of bed.

The staff made the stay especially nice: they were friendly, professional, and quick to help, and check-in was smooth. They answered our questions right away. The room was spotless, modern, comfortable, and clearly well maintained, with an excellent bed. The location was close to everything we needed while still feeling quiet and relaxing. The amenities were thoughtfully chosen, and the atmosphere felt welcoming and upscale. We had a wonderful stay and would absolutely return. I’d recommend it to anyone visiting the area. Quinton at the front desk made us feel welcome and suggested a great place for my birthday dinner. We stayed February 6-11, and the room was spotless with a lovely mountain view. Breakfast had lots of options, and the hot tub was roomy. My husband and I would definitely come back.
