We stayed October 7-11, and the service and condition of the villa were a real letdown. Housekeeping swapped the towels but didn't do any real cleaning, and staff were polite without offering much beyond the basics. The lobby market's short hours, only early morning and late afternoon, were inconvenient too. Our one-bedroom unit felt worn and dated. Several outlets didn't work, and some light switches were in awkward, hard-to-reach places, including one behind the TV. The location was convenient, but the property needs major attention. I'm a Marriott Lifetime Platinum member, and there was no recognition, upgrade, or welcome gift. This fell well short of the Marriott standard I expect, and with better-maintained places in Steamboat Springs, I wouldn't recommend the Sheraton Steamboat Resort Villas.

The room had beautiful views, was quiet, and felt safe. Everything was super clean, and the staff were friendly. Getting in and out was easy too, with convenient elevators and simple parking. There are loads of restaurants and shops nearby, plus a Starbucks and gift shop in the lobby. Ski-in, ski-out during the season is a big plus. We'd love to return.

The weather caused us some travel trouble, and Rylan went way beyond what I expected to help. He was professional, kind, and courteous throughout. His guest service impressed me so much that he's made me a customer for life. Thank you, Rylan.

It's a lovely hotel, but the parking charges felt pretty slimy. We arrived Saturday at 11 p.m. and were billed for a full 24 hours, then left Wednesday at 10 a.m. and got another full-day charge. If those two charges added up to one day's parking, I'd understand, but charging full days like that doesn't sit right. I'd recommend staying if you aren't driving. Getting there otherwise may be a challenge.

The staff were pleasant, and check-in and checkout were quick and easy. Our suite had a full set of amenities, including a stovetop and washer and dryer, though the room itself was compact. I had a nice fall stay. Parking costs extra, and the underground garage was creepy, smelled like trash, and was so cramped that pillars blocked every space. Coffee was another drawback: besides the drip maker in the room, Starbucks was the only option.
