Really comfortable place, and the location was wonderful. The pool and hot tub were great too. There’s a free bus stop very close by.

We cooked all our meals in the apartment, which had everything we needed. Ours was a two-bedroom, two-bathroom unit with a parking pass, and we stayed in 105. Getting to the mountain base and gondola took about three minutes on foot. It was quiet at night, with a shuttle across the street for town and Wild Plum just opposite for groceries. The fireplace helped dry our wet clothes overnight, and the hot tub was hot and easy to get to. The elevator broke on our second night, which could be a problem if carrying things or walking is difficult. The fridge also leaked, leaving water on the shelves that kept freezing. Other than those issues, no complaints.

Room 210 was clean and well kept, with comfortable beds and plenty of space. The style and furniture are dated, but the two-bedroom layout had large bedrooms and a big living room. We liked having an outdoor porch. The pool was open and getting plenty of use, though we didn’t try it. The outdoor hot tub was large, properly hot, and very well maintained in winter. Parking below the unit was always available for us, though we were told it can fill up. At the base area, food choices are limited, so we usually drove into downtown for better options. The location is very good, about a 200-yard walk to the gondola, and it’s the closest option that isn’t luxury.

I was on vacation with my family and wanted the ride to feel safe. It was snowing when the car ahead slowed in a turnabout and seemed to skid a little. The shuttle driver didn’t slow down, then passed it on the left. That felt aggressive to me, especially in those conditions. I think the driver should have been more careful.
