Good Times Motel and Marina

The staff are accommodating and work well together, and they do a great job with cleaning and customer service. I imagine things have been hectic since the hurricane. Still, the place doesn't quite feel like a vacation spot yet. There are lots of small unfinished maintenance jobs that stand out, and better landscaping would make it feel warmer. Maybe they could add a small dog area too. There may be safety risks by the ramp and seawall, so keep an eye on kids there. A more attentive maintenance crew could make a noticeable difference to the first impression.

Fresh seafood was the bomb, and it was just a one-minute walk away. So convenient, and way better than any experience we've had at a place this unique. We'd absolutely recommend it to seafood lovers.

We were in town for two days of fishing, and one of the best parts was being able to step right outside and fish behind our cabin. Toni was incredibly responsive and made the whole stay, from reservation through checkout, a really good experience. This motel is a row of tiny homes right on the Steinhatchee River in Steinhatchee, Florida, a fishing town in Florida's Big Bend that is still recovering from hurricanes over the past two years. The cabins are just two years old, with two or three bedrooms and a loft. Our group rented a two-bedroom one, which comfortably fit four men. It had the amenities you'd expect in an apartment, including standard-size appliances despite being a tiny house. For a very nice place at a great price, this is a good choice, and the service was amazing.

The place itself is absolutely amazing, and the prices are wonderful. The restaurant, though, is very overpriced and not worth it at all.
