We were there about four nights, and nobody came to clean the room. I had to ask for towels each time. One night my son got sick on the floor, so at two in the morning I went to the front desk for towels and cleaned it up myself with cleaner from our car. I did the best I could, and it actually came out pretty well. We brought our dog and were told there'd be a pet fee. I thought that was included in the quoted room price, and I'm still not sure where the extra hundred dollars came from. If it was for the pet, then we were charged twice. The rooms were better than the Motel Six down the road, but still not very good and they smelled funky. We were in a pinch, and at first it seemed okay, but I won't stay again unless they offer a big discount or a free night.

There are stains all over the room, on the sheets, towels, pillows, chair, walls, and carpet. The chair is so disgusting that keeping it in the room for people to use says a lot about how this place is managed. These photos only show a few of the stains. The room smells bad, there's a leak by the toilet, and the TV keeps cutting in and out, so you miss a quarter of whatever you're watching. I've stayed at hundreds of hotels in different countries, and this is by far the worst. Other comments have raised cleanliness too, so management has had plenty of notice. If they'd taken it seriously, that chair would've been gone after the first complaint months ago. Anyone who thinks guests should sit or sleep on stained furniture and bedding should find another job. You should be ashamed.

My wife and I loved the huge bathroom, and the king bed was really comfortable. The room was clean, too. When I came down for coffee and breakfast, Redi was so friendly and helpful. She made fresh coffee and sent me off with apples, oranges, and blueberrymuffins.

The floors were disgusting, the AC barely worked so the room stayed hot most of the time, the bathroom fixtures looked rusty and nasty, and the towels were clearly not cleaned well. One had two big stains that looked like blood. The stairwell to the upper floor smelled so awful I had to cover my nose each time. There were sketchy looking folks and homeless people hanging around nearby. We were in town for a memorial service and wanted an economical place, but next time we'll pay more for somewhere better. You get what you pay for. I wouldn't recommend it or stay again. Also, beware at checkout: the website, confirmation email, and sign inside the door all said 12pm, but at 11:45 I was told checkout was actually 11am. She said they automatically check people out if they haven't left by 11, and that it was on the paper I signed at check-in. Why not tell guests directly? Most people assume the confirmation and door are right and don't read every line. It seemed shady. She got flustered when I checked that we wouldn't be charged and asked for a receipt.
