Tru By Hilton Madison East

Jordan at the front desk was especially welcoming. My room was clean and had what I needed, including a mini fridge. There isn’t a coffee maker or microwave in the room, but the lobby has good coffee around the clock, and there’s a microwave on the ground floor near the elevator. Breakfast had plenty of food, though the setup felt a little chaotic.

I stayed through a snowstorm, and the room was clean with the facilities in great shape. The price was good too. My only gripe was breakfast: I may have arrived toward the end, but there was no waffle or pancake batter left.

I was visiting from Mexico, and Maximiliano greeted me in Spanish when he found that out. He also suggested places to eat and helped me get the TV working. Each day he saw me, he said hello and asked how my stay was going. I’ll make this my preferred hotel when I’m back in Madison.
