Lora

The room was fabulous, exactly what we asked for and then some. We had family photos taken inside and outside the hotel, and the manager listened to what I wanted and pointed out great spots. The front desk staff had already briefed our photographer on the location by the time we got to the lobby. The hotel is amazing with pets: there were food and water bowls, treats, a dog bed, and cute little collar tags with the hotel address in case one of the dogs got lost. That attention to detail made my day. They also left a happy anniversary note for my husband and me with two yummy truffles, perfect before our five-mile loop walk. Dinner and breakfast in the attached restaurant were fantastic. I have only positive things to say about the stay. Highly recommend the Lora, especially with your fur kids. Special thanks to Lauren for helping us from start to finish and making the trip special.

Our wedding was in Stillwater in early January, with cocktail hour and dinner for 20 people in the restaurant downstairs. The cute private dining room fit us perfectly, and Lora did everything to make the day special. The pastry chef made us an amazing cake that was a work of art, and the whole staff were approachable and accommodating. We’d highly recommend this place for a small wedding. The rooms were so cute, the beds were easily the most comfortable, and I managed to sleep the night before the wedding. Our stay made us feel at home. Thanks so much, Lora!

I’ve stayed in hundreds of hotels for work, tours, and holidays, and this was the best hotel experience I’ve had. We booked a Premium King on the third floor, looking out toward main street and the river. The service was superb, the room excellent, and the view beautiful. Reserve parking ahead, though. A wedding group had taken up most of the valet lot, but the front desk staff rearranged things to fit our car. Lora staff even brought a dining table to our room so my girlfriend and I could eat there. I brought my own dishes, candles, and wine service, though Lora offers a similar add-on package. I ordered takeout from the Feller restaurant, which was outstanding. A perfect weekend in a beautiful city.

The stone building has a cool vibe, and we loved our stay. Everyone was nice, the location was fabulous, the bedding was heavenly, and the shower was perfect. I’d highly recommend this beautiful hotel. Before our visit I saw reviews complaining about the price, but I decided to judge for myself. With the location and high-end finishes, especially the comfortable bed, linens, pillows, and wonderful shower, I think the pricing is fair. I’m glad I didn’t let those comments put me off.
