The Perry Hotel & Marina Key West

We wanted somewhere a little away from downtown Key West’s crowds, and this location worked really well. It’s still close to downtown, about 15 minutes by car for us. They offer a shuttle, but we rented a car instead. Matt's stock island restuarant on site was wonderful, with beautiful marina views. I’d highly recommend it!

Matt’s restaurant was a highlight for us as foodies. Everything there and at our wedding events was delicious, and guests kept telling us how good the food was. We used different areas across The Perry for the celebration, from Perry Lawn to the pool, Matt’s restaurant, and the patio. That made the evening feel personal and lively, and everything flowed smoothly. The atmosphere was relaxed, elevated, and unforgettable. From choosing The Perry for our wedding weekend, the whole team made us feel welcome and cared for. Destination wedding planning can be a lot, but the staff made it feel seamless and exciting. Sofia and Juliette were incredible all the way through. Their kindness, quick responses, organization, and attention to detail mattered so much during planning and the weekend itself. The venue gave us and our guests a way to enjoy Key West while being away from the busier Duval streets. The shuttle made exploring easy, and the concierge team helped with recommendations, rides, and guest questions. Our guests still talk about how much they liked staying there. It became home base for one of the most important weekends of our lives, more than just a hotel. We wholeheartedly recommend The Perry for weddings or a Key West getaway. It means a lot to us, and we can’t wait to come back.

Our room, 240, faced a power plant and laundry yard. We asked to move to a room with a better view, but were told the hotel was full both nights. I’m skeptical, since from the pool it looked like several rooms were unoccupied. The amenity fee was $52 per night for things I’d expect to be included in the room rate, and parking at $29 a night was ridiculous. We avoided paying for the second night by using free street parking nearby on 5th Avenue. Otherwise, it’s a very nice hotel with tasteful modern rooms and good facilities, especially the excellent gym and great pool.

We had a great stay at The Perry Hotel in Key West from April 5 to 10. Our room was spacious, and relaxing on the third-floor balcony at sunset with our doggo was a treat. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and we love a hotel where our dog is as welcome as we are. We ate at Matt's Stock Island Kitchen and also had drinks, appetizers, and desserts at The Salty Oyster. The food was great, and the marina views were hard to beat. The pool was clean and inviting. Having the dog park on site was a godsend, as was the level 2 EV charging. We only wish we could have stayed longer and look forward to returning.
